- Cabinets
- Wardrobes
- Fridges & appliances
- Marketplace & Trade Me purchases
- Oversized furniture
If it won’t fit in your vehicle, we can help.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before booking your move with Move It Bros.
What areas does Move It Bros service?
Move It Bros provides moving services throughout Hawke’s Bay, with a strong focus on Central Hawke’s Bay and Dannevirke. We also service Waipukurau, Waipawa, Hastings, Havelock North, Napier and surrounding communities. Longer-distance moves to and from other regions around New Zealand can also be arranged.
Do you provide long-distance moving outside Hawke's Bay?
Yes. Move It Bros can help with inter-regional moves to and from Hawke’s Bay. This includes moves such as Hastings to Auckland, Wellington to Napier, or another region into Central Hawke’s Bay or Dannevirke. Tell us your pickup and destination locations and we can work through the details with you.
Can you move an entire house?
Yes. We can help with full household relocations, from smaller flats and units through to larger family homes. Let us know the approximate size of your home, what needs moving and any access considerations so we can recommend the right approach.
Can I book Move It Bros to move just one item?
Yes. You don’t need to be moving an entire house. We can help with single items and smaller loads, including couches, beds, dining tables, cabinets, appliances, Marketplace and Trade Me purchases, and other bulky furniture.
Do you offer packing and unpacking services?
Yes. We can assist with full or partial packing before your move and unpacking at the destination. This can be useful if you want to reduce the amount of work you need to handle yourself before or after moving day.
Can you disassemble and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Suitable furniture can be disassembled before the move when required and reassembled at your new property. This is particularly useful for large items that are difficult to move safely through doorways, hallways or stairwells when fully assembled.
Do you move pianos?
Yes. Move It Bros provides piano moving throughout Hawke’s Bay and can discuss longer-distance piano moves depending on the job. Because pianos are heavy and delicate, we’ll need to know the type of piano and any stairs or access challenges at the pickup and delivery properties.
Can you move spa pools?
Yes. We can assist with spa pool moving. Spa pool jobs need to be assessed based on the size and weight of the spa and access at both properties. Sending us photos and approximate dimensions when you enquire helps us work out what will be required.
Do you provide office and commercial moving?
Yes. Move It Bros can assist businesses with office and commercial relocations, including desks, furniture, equipment and other workplace items. We’ll work with you to plan the move and minimise disruption where possible.
How do I get a price for my move?
You can check our Pricing page for our standard moving rates, or request a quote for your specific job. For the most accurate quote, tell us where you’re moving from, where you’re going, the approximate size of the move, your preferred date and any heavy items, stairs or difficult access we should know about.
